Cartridge dispensers

Gun-type applicators for thermosetting and hot-melt adhesives, cartridge dispensers. [Pg.8]

New catalog from Nordson EFD offers the complete line of TAH systems for meter mix and cartridge applications for two-component adhesives, including mixers, cartridges, dispensers, and valves. Forafree copy, visit www.nordsonefd.com/ads/asi-1010. [Pg.42]

Independent of final adhesive viscosity, hand application, by spatula, palette knife or trowel, is often the favoured method. However, once mixed, low viscosity adhesives are frequently pumped to an applicator gun, which is often robotically controlled. Higher viscosity paste adhesives can make use of hand-held cartridge dispensers which not only mix the adhesive, as indicated above, but also can apply a bead or stripe of adhesive to the substrate, dependant on the design of the applicator head. [Pg.290]

Other, more recently developed, uses include microwave oven parts, transparent pipelines, chemical plant pumps and coffee machine hot water dispensers. One exceptional use has been to produce, by an extrusion moulding process, very large rollers for textile finishing for use where cast nylons cannot meet the specification. Also of growing interest are medical equipment applications that may be repeatedly steam-sterilised at 134°C, filtration membranes and cartridges for ink-jet printers. [Pg.602]

Another approach is using a modified commercial ink-jet printer to dispense biological reagents. Over a decade ago, we took an HP DeskJet printer, emptied the ink from the print cartridge, and replaced it with a DNA... [Pg.109]

A dose of 1.5 mg is dispensed in a two-chamber cartridge. The front chamber contains recombinant somatropin (1.5 mg) (approximateiy 4.5 iU), giycine (27.6 mg), sodium dihydrogen phosphate anhydrous (0.3 mg), and disodium phosphate anhydrous (0.3 mg) the rear chamber contains 1.13-mL water for injection. The 5.8-mg dose system has in the rear chamber 0.3% m-cresoi (as a preservative) and mannitoi, 45 mg in 1.14-mL water for injection. Long acting contains 13.5 mg of somatropin,... [Pg.347]
