Trapping device, capillary-type

The actual trapping procedure to be used is a matter of individual preference, since there are many published procedures and commercial types available. The capillary-type trapping device (6, 7, 8) is appealingly simple, and the concentrated trapped pesticide is confined on the small inner surfaces of the tube from which it is quickly, easily, and, more important, eflBciently transferred to whichever infrared microsampling device is to be used.
