Capacitor design

Noise within an accelerometer is created from several sources. The noise comes from the switched capacitor design, inherent thermal noise within any devices, the flickeT noise of transistors, and the Brownian noise in the g-cell transducer due to random motion of atoms (see equation 5). Signal-to-noise ratio of 60 dB is common, but lower g devices with higher gains may be worse. [Pg.284]

Switched-capacitor filters An electronic circuit (fabricated from operational amphfiers, transistors, and capacitors) designed to transmit some range of signal frequencies while discriminating others. [Pg.686]

The printing solution addresses both variables in the capacitor design. The thickness of the dielectrics is minimized, and the permittivity is increased simultaneously. The high-K paste has to have the following features ... [Pg.380]

Capacitor Design Parameters. Similar design tolerancing for capacitor design parameters (compared to resistors in Sec. 24.4.1) is available for capacitors, as shown in Fig. 21.3. [Pg.463]

Polystyrene also has a low dissipation factor that, along with its dielectric constant, is virtually independent of frequency making it suitable for high-frequency applications. Some of the properties important in capacitor design are compared for polystyrene and PET in Table 10.7. [Pg.334]

A schematic of the PECVD system in the authors laboratory is shown in Figure 3.4. The system can be operated in either the CVD mode (plasma off) or the PECVD mode. The plasma is strack between two 8cm-diameter circular parallel plates (capacitor design) spaced approximately 2-3 cm apart The sample is mounted on the grounded anode, which is also the sample heater. The sample... [Pg.89]
