This collection of several CD-ROM products provides a wealth of legislative, regulatory, handbook, directory, numeric, and bibliographic information focusing on occupational health, workplace safety, environmental hazards, regulatory information, and safety topics. Most Roberrs-based jmisdictions have health and safety cormnittees made up of nranage-ment represerrtatives and a ntunber of people selected by the employees, usualty the health and safety representatives. For a clearer outline of the committee s role, refer to the relevant legislation. For instance, in the Canadian Province of Manitoba, it is set up under S.2 of the Workplace Safety and Health Act. 

This section provides a brief listing of regulatory federal and provincial legislation that governs safety issues in Canada and the websites where these regulations can be obtained. Also in this section is a list of websites for mandatory documents that every private and municipal water operation should have access to, with preference of a hard copy at each facility. The web links will require some independent research to assess the importance of each topic as it applies to specific Canadian jurisdictions.
