The integral and differential enthalpies of displacement can be measured directly using calorimeters of the isothermal type. Such instruments either are produced and marketed by some manufacturers of high-performance calorimetric systems for different applications (e.g., SETARAM Instrumentation, LKB-ThermoMetric, TA Instruments, Microscal Ltd), or are home-mode prototypes based on original work carried out in university laboratories and therefore documented in considerable detail in scientiAc publications.
