Cabinet library

A number of widely available HTTP servers were examined, two of which were used in experimental Cabinet implementations (NCSA s httpd [32] and Apache [33]). Both are robust, easy to set up, easy to customize, highly standards-compliant and are available for a wide variety of platforms. The Apache server also provides a limited ability to link to run-time libraries and good support for secure services. The days when a library, in a chemical company, was a place filled with serried ranks of books and journals, flanked with large banks of wooden filing cabinets, have long since passed. The books still remain but the filing cabinets have been replaced by gleaming ranks of computer terminals. 

The card catalog is usually a series of cabinets containing alphabetized index cards in some libraries, the card catalog is divided into three parts so that you may look up information under subject, author, and title. Here is an example of a card you might find in a subject catalog. 

When former President Jimmy Carter returned to Georgia in January, 1981, Andrew Young, his friend and former member of his cabinet, had been elected Mayor of Atlanta. Commissioner of Transportation Tom Moreland, who had served as Governor Carter s Commissioner, remained in that position.
