Bulk Supplies

When a small fraction of irreversible mediator side reactions cause a rapid decrease of catalytic activity in the homogeneous case in a modified electrode this would be disastrous since there is no bulk supply of catalyst. Thus, higher turnover numbers are generally required than in the homogeneous case... 

In smaller set ups or where small batches of product are made from a bulk supply of flour the flour needs to be weighed. Now this can be done using ordinary scales but there are systems that make the baker s life easier. It is possible to have a system with a load cell under the mixing bowl that allows the flour to be weighed in directly. The water can fed in from a water meter and any other ingredients can be weighed in.

The material from an appropriate bulk supply of the matrix material is weighed into a suitable container and homogenised. There are other transportation applications of hydrogen fuel for fuel cells to supply electricity to railway trains, marine vessels, and aircraft, and for jet engines to propel aircraft (Airbus, 2003). If the application of hydrogen to jet engine aircraft occurs in the future, nuclear-produced hydrogen is the best suited for its supply at hub airports for its features of no C02 emission and bulk supply capability. 

Materials. In addition to the bulk supplies required for the trial manufacture, the need for expensive or special quality chemicals for the laboratory considered and the likely cost.

Most abused inhalants are legally sold products that are not intended to be inhaled and abused. In contrast to illicit drugs, there is little or no criminal involvement with the supply and possession of inhalants. Because these products are all safe when used for their intended purposes, it is impossible to control inhalant abuse by eliminating the availability of inhalants. Bulk supplies of acetone, diethyl ether, and toluene are under international control, but this does not affect the availability of the household products containing these chemicals. 

Once a specific clinical product or comparator is developed, it may become more efficient and cost effective to manufacture and stock bulk supplies from the pilot plant when it is known that they will be routinely used in future clinical studies. 

Tetrahydrofuran was from a bulk supply purchased from Blagden Campbell. The checkers obtained 1t from EM Science. The solvent was tested for peroxides prior to use. 

The demand for gas at the factory for heat treatment and other processes was beyond the existing capacity of the Bath gasworks. To meet this demand a bulk supply was obtained from Bristol gasworks, delivered via a new 12" compression main laid between Bristol and Bath and a duplicate 18 main laid from Bath to Corsham. In total some twenty miles of gas main were laid to supply the Spring Quarry complex.
