Bulk storage devices

The facilities consist of storage tanks or vessels, loading racks (or unloading) by ship, rail or truck, metering devices, and pumping or compression systems. Their capacities are relatively smaller compared to refinery storage and are normally dictated by local commercial demands in the bulk storage location. [Pg.15]

The amount of material provided in a complete sample collection kit is sufficient to collect eight samples of each type (bulk solid, soil, water, liquid, and wipe). The perception of the sample collection kit is mainly aimed at environmental samples to be taken by the OPCW inspectors as expected in IAU inspections or perimeter monitoring at Cl inspections. Nevertheless, it covers sampling activities at industrial sites, where samples are most likely to be taken from storage devices, production equipment, and waste streams. [Pg.35]

For the electrolyte, PEDOTrPSS (about 0.5 ml.) per layer was drop coated with a pipette uniformly on the fabric while it was in the oven. Each layer of PEDOT PSS was left to dry in the oven for 15 min at a temperature of 90—100°C before applying the next layer. A total of seven layers were coated to increase the PEDOT PSS loading into the fabric since the PEDOTrPSS dispersion was very light at only 6% in water. In addition, the many layers of coating increased the coating uniformity and reduced bulk resistance. Some of the produced charge storage devices are as presented in Fig. 20.2. [Pg.461]

On-site bulk storage tanks should be sized one and one-half times the size of proposed deliveries, or 10 days requirements, whichever is greater. Storage tanks should be designed for a minimum working pressure of 60 psig (414 kPa) or a pressure to suit the particular installation. Storage tanks should be equipped with pressure relief devices safely vented to a scrubber. [Pg.444]
