Breaking harmony

Our traditional firework flowers today are also under the influence of the avant-garde movement which breaks the harmony. However look at history  [Pg.15]

The firework flower was originally created in an effort to bring the capricious fire phenomena, which are almost always inharmonic, into harmony, and as a result it has reached the perfectly round chrysanthemum pattern. [Pg.16]

However such a completeness produces deadlock, with the result that we get the idea to break the harmony. But breaking the harmony should never be opposite to the principles described above. An unpleasant firework flower is always displeasing and it is pointless to break the harmony. Changes must not disturb, but rather help the harmony of the flower. [Pg.16]

Secondly, an inverse harmony break may be proposed. All the artistic movements may be divided in three being(+), nil(o) and inverse(-). The above belong to the nil or the being . The inverse has negative artistic movement which is obtained by writing a figure oppositely against Fig.7 as far as possible (Fig.8).  [Pg.16]

The movement of stars is generally very rapid at first, but soon they become slower and slower with a growth in brilliancy. This is the right harmony. The inverse harmony goes to the contrary, i.e. the brilliancy of the stars diminishes lower and lower. In this case the speed of stars cannot [Pg.16]

The surface tension y of the aqueous solution of dodecylammonium chloride — decylammonium chloride mixture was measured as a function of m at a given value of the mole fraction X of DeAC at 298.15 K under atmospheric pressure. The results are shown in Figure 1. It is seen that the y vs. m curves are similar in appearance. This behavior is in harmony with that observed previously in a low concentration range (9). Moreover, the formation of micelle is found to cause the curves to break sharply at the CMC which increases with X. It should be noted, however, that the y vs. m curve of a mixture has a very shallow minimum in the immediate vicinity of the CMC. [Pg.164]

I put my hand over his and felt the tension in his muscles. Then I leaned so close that I heard his heartbeat and how his breathing was rapid and shallow. Minutes passed, and I turned inward, so that his cravat brushed my nose. When he put his hand on the back of my neck, it was like the moment when a substance first breaks down and becomes another—ice to water, liquid to steam. The clocks began to tick in harmony, the mice scuffled in the empty cages, the flames leaped in the hearth, and my father turned the page of his notebook. [Pg.142]

EVIL SPIRITS THAT BREAK THE BONDS BETWEEN OURSELVES AND OUR ELDERS, DISRUPT THE CIRCLE OF OUR FAMILY SYSTEM, DESTROY THE HARMONY BETWEEN US AND ALL CREATION. [Pg.421]

To escape this brutal cycle, and before harmony can be achieved, the inessential must be removed—the subtle separated from the gross, for as long as spirit and soul are chained by the material state they cannot be freed. The lesson is simple— if we identify too strongly with our physical selves we are doomed to share the body s death, so this false identity must be sacrificed, destroyed to reveal the true self. Likewise, a seed cannot flourish until the outer husk has rotted and fallen away. The substance that breaks down the material body is Philosophic Mercury, a rarified spiritual solvent, the preparation of which presents the laboratory alchemist with one his greatest challenges. [Pg.13]

Illness is nothing else than a break of body s harmony that has the endogenous tendency to reconstitute itself an endeavor that the physician can only support by appropriate measures. [Pg.718]
