Reentrainment from the bottom of the cyclone can be prevented in several ways. If a typical long-cone dry cyclone is used and liquid is kept continually drained, vortex entrainment is unlikely. However, a vortex breaker baffle in the outlet is desirable, and perhaps a flat disk on top extending to within 2 to 5 cm (0.8 to 2 in) of the walls may be beneficial. Often liquid cyclones are built without cones and have dished bottoms. The modifications described earlier are definitely needed in such situations. Stern, Caplan, and Rush (Cyclone Dust Collectors, American Petroleum Institute, New York, 1955) and Rietema and Verver (in Tengbergen, Cyclones in Industry, Elsevier, Amsterdam, 1961, chap. 7) have discussed liquid-collecting cyclones. 

If you are interested in a hybrid storage system with a battery, you can use a blocking diode and you should definitely fuse the battery, or use MCBs (miniature circuit breakers) to prevent possible problems from a short. 

Where moulded case circuit breakers are chosen for a plant in favour of fuses the coordination of cascaded units becomes a little more difficult than with fuses. This difficulty arises from the fact that these circuit breakers have a definite or near definite minimum time limit to their time-current characteristic. This causes the lower part of the circuit breaker protection curve to be almost horizontal at a low value of time, typically in the range of 0.003 and 0.01 second.

To ensnre that the protective device fnnctions rapidly the rated cnrrent of this device must be limited to about 30% of the rated current of the inverter npstream. Hence the ratio of load kVA to inverter kVA of each load snb-circnit will be a maximnm of abont 25%.

This reaction is not complete in experiments performed by the author, but since K2O is definitely a chain breaker or a ring opener, it can be seen why potassium trimetaphosphate can be formed thermally, at lower temperatures, where it would not normally be expected to form.
