Bomb MT Mechanical Time Fuzes

Nose and tail MT fuzes, although varying in explosive characteristics, are essentially of one type. They resemble MT artillery fuzes described in Section 5, [Pg.990]

Cutaway views of AN-M146A1 fuze are given in Figs 4-17a 4-17b, and cutaway view of M155A1 is given in Fig 4-18 [Pg.990]

All currently used types of MT fuze, except M155A1 are detonator-safe (i.e., the detonator is held out of line with the booster-lead until the fuze arms) [Pg.990]
