System designers often think dampers bloek airflow and are suitable to prevent baek drafts in idle towers. This is not the ease. Airfoil dampers simply hamper fan housing efficiency- they do not block airflow. Air Inlet Screens are always part of blow through, counterflow towers to protect people from rotating equipment. Some designs can be a hazard when accessible from the underside and require the specifier to call out additional screening. They can be a worthwhile accessory when there are nearby trees even when not required for safety reasons. Air inlet screens should be eliminated on towers utilizing inlet ductwork. Inlet ductwork may also make it necessary to block extraneous air entry such as from the underside when towers are elevated. 

Highly branched polymers, polymer adsorption and the mesophases of block copolymers may seem weakly connected subjects. However, in this review we bring out some important common features related to the tethering experienced by the polymer chains in all of these structures. QUESTION How do you imagine that both a receptor antagonist and an uptake inhibitor would block the effects It would seem that if dopamine is involved, it would either be acting on a membrane receptor or inside, but not both. I would also like to ask a more specific question. You showed that the alpha MT protected effect could be reversed by dopa. And I think you imagined that that was because of dopamine formation. But have you tried dopamine agonists to see if they would antagonize either the protective effect of alpha methyltyrosine or, particularly, the protective effect of the dopamine antagonists to try to verily that those protective effects really have to do with blockade of a dopamine receptor as opposed to some other possibility ...

Kubiak In mouse, there is a weak checkpoint in meiosis for spindle formation. There are some responses where if the spindle is destroyed, the passage from metaphase I to metaphase II is blocked. There is other evidence that there is no checkpoint. I think there is a special checkpoint in meiosis. Starting from the first mitotic division there is no spindle checkpoint. 

In one sense, it is possible to think of the categories involved as building blocks for designs, which can then be combined in various ways which depend upon the information that you want to obtain which, in turn, determines the nature of the data to collect. These... 

For the same reasons above. Think of a battery as an infinitely large capacitor. The only way to handle battery charging with a BJT switch is to put in a blocking diode in series with the battery. 

Blaustein 2-aminoethoxydiphenyl borate (2-APB) is used as a selective blocker of InsP3 receptors. However, I think I have seen recent papers showing that 2-APB also blocks Ca2+ entry in some way. Do you think it blocks Ca2+ entry and reduces the tonic component in this way ... 

Nelson Under voltage-clamp conditions, if we add ryanodine and block the sparks, we see no rise in Ca2+. Why would you think it would go up ...
