The triruthenium cluster complex Ru3(/X3-77 (6 ,TV,A0-Habq)(CO)9 (H2abqH = 2-amino-7,8-benzoquinoline) reacts with tertiary stannanes at room temperature (but not with tertiary silanes) to give Ru3(/x-H)(/X3-77 -Habq-6 ,iV,iV)(SnR3)(GO)8 (R = Ph, Bu). These compounds slowly release HR at room temperature to afford 77 (6 ,iV,iV)-Habq)(/x-SnR2)(yu-GO)(CO)7, which contain bridging stannylene ligands. ...
