Benzoe Sumatra resinoid

Benzoe Sumatra resinoid is obtained by solvent extraction of the resin from Styrax benzoin Dryand, a tree growing predominantly on the island of Sumatra.

The Siam type is produced by hydrocarbon solvent extraction of the tree resin of Styrax tonkinensis, Styraceae, which grows wild in Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam.
