Belen’kii, L. I., The Literature of Heterocyclic

This volume ends with part 7 of the ongoing series on the literature of heterocyclic chemistry, by Professor L. I. Belen kii and Drs. N. D. Kruchkovskaya and V. N. Gramenitskaya, all of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow. It is a sequel to six earlier parts published in Advances in Heterocyclic Chemistry, which started in 1966 in Volume 7 of Advances, and have also appeared in Volumes 25, 44, 55, 71, and 73. The present part covers monographs and reviews published during the three-year period, 1997-1999.

L. I. Belen kii and N. D. Kruchkovskaya have updated their survey of the literature of heterocyclic review articles. This is the fourth installment in this series previous overviews of heterocyclic reviews appeared in Volumes 7 (literature up to 1965), 25 (literature 1966-1978) by S. M. Weeds and P. M. Jones with your editor, and Volume 44 (literature 1979-1987) by L. I. Belen kii. A particular feature of this overview is its coverage of the Russian language literature as well as Western sources. 

Volume 92 closes with installment IX in the ongoing series entitled The Literature of Heterocyclic Chemistry , covers the literature for the years 2002-2004. Authored by L. I. Belen kii, V. N. Gramenitskaya, and Yu. B. Evdokimenkova (also of the Zelinsky Institute), it continues this series of reviews, which have been published in Advances in Heterocyclic Chemistry since 1966, and is the seventh of the series to be composed under the direction of Professor Belen kii. 

Volume 87 consists of four chapters. L. I. Belen kii and V. N. Gramenitskaya (Moscow, Russia) have provided Part VIII of our series on the literature of heterocyclic chemistry, which covers reviews dealing with the subject, appearing during the period 1999 through 2001. 

Volume 102 of our Advances commences with the next of our continuing surveys of the The Literature of Heterocyclic Chemistry, Part X, 2005-2007 this one covering reviews published in the period 2005-2007, again authored by Professor L.I. Belen kii and his colleagues V.N. Gramenitskaya and Yu.B. Evdokimenkova all affiliated with the Zelinsky Institute of Organic Chemistry. 

The final chapter is part V of our ongoing series of surveys of the review literature of heterocyclic chemistry. It is authored by Professor L. I. Belen kii and Dr. N. D. Kruchkovskaya (Moscow, Russia) and covers the years 1991 to 1993 inclusive.
