Basic Regulation

Chapter 1 examined the aims of regulation and identified the basic regulations currently in existence. This chapter looks at the broad strategies that are employed to achieve these goals, and the agencies that participate in leading industry towards these goals. 

Part I of this book focuses on problems relating to gas-continuous impinging streams, including basic regulations, properties, and some of its applications.

Combustion conditions were optimised and basic regulations of the combustion system were adjusted by burning "test oils". A Word on Footnotes. Always carefully read the footnotes associated with any table in the codes, as important modifications or exceptions to the basic regulation are often provided. In the case of UBC Tables 3-D and 3-E, the footnotes (among other things) define a control area and allow additional quantities of materials when they are stored in approved cabinets, or the facility is sprinklered.
