BALTIC Monthly Time Series

FIGURE 11.5 Monthly time series of salinity at three depth levels 0, 50, and 80 m in the BALTIC cell at 15°E, 55°N, Bornholm Basin. [Pg.328]

Monthly time series of river discharge into the Baltic Sea were compiled by Mikulski (1982) and Bergstrom and Carlsson (1994). Forthe intended publication within this book, we have not received the necessary permission from the latter authors. [Pg.655]

The main product of BALTIC are the time series of monthly mean values for each particular parameter and each particular grid cell (Ion, lat, depth, year, and month) expressed as a quintuple (mean, rms, min, max, and count). These tables are available digitally as simple ASCI files from the supplement. Chapter 20, as one separate file like, for example, PSAL monthly.asc for each of the eleven parameters PSAL, TEMP, DOXY, HSUL, AMON, NTRA, NTRI, NTOT, PHOS, TPHS, and SLCA. As an example, a short section of the montly salinity atlas is presented in Table 11.10. [Pg.327]

TEMP monthly.asc is the main data file, containing the time series 1900-2005 of monthly mean values over each 1 °x 1 °x 10 m BALTIC grid cell, together with minimum, maximum, root mean square and sample count. It is a large plain ASCII file structured as shown in Table 11.10 in Chapter 11. [Pg.656]
