Ballard Status

Ballard is a worldwide organisation with large shareholders, namely Ford, General Motors, Daimler-Benz (Daimler Chrysler) and, on the power side, GPU International and FBARA in Japan. In addition to stationary power stacks of 250 kW, FBARA is pushing hard on a 1 kW domestic PFFC (Ballard Press Release BW0117, 22 February 2001, via web site businesswire.com). 

Honda uses Ballard Mark 902 cells in it FCX demonstration 78 kW fuel cell vehicle, which has power storage in an ultra-capacitor of Honda manufacture (see the 2002 press release 31247/24072 as listed on the Honda web site).
