Several compositions with inks with improved lightfastness have been detailed (55). The lightfastness of the printed samples was tested with an Atlas SUNTEST CPS device or an Atlas Q3000 weath-erometer. The printing medium was a glossy inkjet paper, such as UVGlossy available from the American Ink Jet Corporation. [Pg.82]

For the project, the solar simulator Atlas SUNTEST CPS+ (AMETEK) (Fig. 21.19) having a filtered xenon lamp was chosen. The spectmm of a xenon lamp is one of the most interesting ones for solar simulation. The simulator possesses filters that evacuate the infrared radiation, thus preventing overheating of the device, and transmits UV and visible light so that the rays arrive perpendicularly to the tray. Fig. 21.20 illustrates the characteristics of the device its section view and the details of the filters and mirrors used in addition to the xenon lamp (Adas AMETEK, 2013). [Pg.491]

All measurements made in a Suntest CPS-H photostability chamber equipped with a Xenon-arc lamp, Atlas Materials Testing Technologies, Chicago, IL, U.S.A.
