The assodation constant for Ca(Q04)2 in CHgCN b l.lxlO M" for Cyclo-(Pro-Gly)3, which b about 500 times as large as that for Cyclo-(Pro-Gly)2 (2.0x 10 M ). These observations indicate the cooperative action of many carbonyl groups, which should be fixed in a suitable arrangement. [Pg.59]

Stability constants were obtained for receptors 13a, 13b and 13c using analogous conditions to those employed for receptors 12a, 12b and 12c.
