Arable crops pesticide survey

The survey divides all cropping into ten major commodity groups. Arable crops, representing around 86-90% of all pesticide use, are surveyed biennially, with the other nine commodity groups sampled every four years - two or three major surveys being undertaken each year. This effectively surveys all areas of pesticide use across agriculture and horticulture. The current timetable of surveys is given in Table 2.1. [Pg.9]
