To produce an antidiarrhoeal suspension micronized low-density crospovidone should be used as active ingredient because its sedimentation properties are much better (see chapter 3.4.4). In the typical example given in Table 148 almost no sedimentation was observed after 4 weeks and the redispersibility is very easy.
