Anona muricata

Alkaloids have been found in four genera of tbe Anonaeeas. Callan and Tutin found an amorphous alkaloid in Anona muricata L., but recently Meyer bas isolated and described two crystalline alkaloids, murieine and murieinine, from tbis species. [Pg.317]

The following new sources of alkaloids have been reported Anona muricata, which yielded reticuline 65 Cinnamomum species, from which cinnamolaurine (36 R1 = Me, R2 + R3 = CH2,R4 = H), (+ )-reticuline(37 R = H), and a new... [Pg.107]

Most of the alkaloids isolated from plants of the Anonaceae family have proved to be aporphines, and for this reason it may be suspected that muricine and muricinine (108) isolated from Anona muricata L. may also be aporphines. [Pg.142]
