Annealing results

The films consisting of poly(benzylether) dendrons are comparably different from those of poly(phenylene sulfide) dendrons. Pirolli and Teplyakov reported the deposition of copper films from the commercially available lOo precursor (CupraSelect ) on a Si(lOO) crystal at the molecular level, combining experimental surface analytical techniques with computational analysis. At — 173°C CupraSelect adsorbs without noticeable decomposition. Surface annealing results in the elimination of ViSiMes below 25 °C, while the hfac anion binds to the surface through a copper atom. Upon heating, hfac decomposes and constitutes the main source of impurities in the copper deposition process. ... 

This combination has proven to be the most robust means of data analysis. It has enabled us to determine biexponential fluorescence decay parameters from dansylated amino acids in the presence of bovine serum albumin (BSA) [28,29]. An example of this type is shown in Figure 7. Here a plot of the observed fluorescence fi om dansylproline and BSA is overlaid with the calculated fluorescence obtained firom Equation (11), the measured instrument response function, and the parameters determined from the hybrid analysis. These results, including the intermediate simulated annealing results, are shown in Table 2. 

These annealing results suggest that time and temperature may be considered as somewhat equivalent in their effect on water evolution. A short time at 700 °C is equivalent to a longer time at 600 °C. This comparison was further tested in a series of experiments in which Cr/ silica catalyst was activated at various temperatures for 15 min and also for 20 h. Then each catalyst was tested for polymerization activity, and the resultant polymers were analyzed.
