Abou-Ouf et al. [16] described a spectrophotometric method for the determination of primaquine phosphate in pharmaceutical preparation. Two color reactions for the analysis of primaquine phosphate dosage form, which are based on 2,6-dichlor-oquinone chlorimide and l,2-naphthoquinone-4-sulfonate, were described. The reactions depend on the presence of active centers in the primaquine molecule. These are the hydrogen atoms at position 5 of the quinoline nucleus and the primary amino group of the side chain. The method was applied to tablets of primaquine phosphate and a combination of primaquine phosphate and amodiaquine hydrochloride. 

In contrast to the reactions of pyrans with electrophiles and nucleophiles, oxidations of 2-amino-4H-pyrans are represented by very few examples. Oxidizing of 281 into 2-iminopyrans 296 with chloroanil or dichlor-odicyanoquinone (DDQ) (04JME6299) can be used to protect the amino group in Sandmeyer reaction (297), or to introduce a methyl group into position 4 of pyran 298. The latter is essential because the corresponding acetophenones do not give 298 with MN and aminophenols (Scheme 125). 

Die Umwandlung von (2-Oxo-alkyl)-l, 2,4-triazolium-Salzen mit Natriumhydrid in Dimethyl-formamid fiihrt zu 4-Acyl-5-amino-imidazolen. Diese Reaktion verlauft iiber offenkettige N-Cyan-formamidine, was in einem Beispiel durch Isolierung des N-Cyan-formamidins und dessen thermische Cyclisierung zum 4-Acyl-5-amino-imidazol nachgewiesen wurde. Die Ausbeuten liegen im allgemeinen um 30%. In einem Fall wurden 60% Ausbeute erzielt [5-Amino-l-(4-chlor-benzyl)-4-(2,4-dichlor-benzoyl)-imidazol Schmp. 220°]373 ... 

Bei der Diazotierung von 2-Amino-4,5-dicyan-imidazol erhalt man das exploslonsgefahrliche 2-Diazoniono-4,5-dicyan-imidazolat, das z. B. mit Benzol zu 4,5-Dicyan-2-phenyl-imidazol und mit 1,2-Dichlor-ethan zu 2-Chlor-l-(2-chlor-ethyl)-4,5-dicyan-imidazol umgesetzt werden kann993. 

Das symmetrische 2,5-Bis-[2-pyridyl-amino]-l,4-dichlor-benzol setzt sich bei der Photolyse un-ter zweifacher Cyclisierung zu 13H-(Pyrido[l, 2-a]-(pyrrolo[2,3-h pyrido) [3,2-f]-benzimidazol ) (37%) um. Nebenprodukte sind.die monocyclisierten 8-(2-Pyridyl-amino)-[Pg.247]

Amino-3-chlor-l,2,4-oxadiazol256 100 g (0,72 mol) 3,5-Dichlor-l,2,4-oxadiazol werden tropfenweise un-ter Riihren bei 20" mit einer Mischung aus 108 g (0,8 mol) 25%iger waBr. Ammoniak-Losung und 100 ml Wasser innerhalb 1,5 h versetz.t. Man riihrt 3 h bei 20°, saugt das kristalline Produkt ab und kristallisiert aus Wasser um Ausbeute 67,8 g (79%) Schmp. 163-171°. 

Neuere Beispiele fur die Anwendung der Gabriel-Synthese in ihrer urspriinglichen Form sind u.a. die Herstellung von 4-Chlor-l-phthalimido-2-buten aus l,4-Dichlor-2-buten (65%)1 sowie die erste Stufe der folgenden Synthese von zwei allenischen Amino-alko-holen, 5-Amino-4-ethyl-l-hydroxy-2-methyl-2,3-hexadien (I R =H, R2=R3 = CH3 ...
