Enalapril Amiloride

Amiloride is a potassium-sparing diuretic, whereas hydrochlorthiazide is a thiazide diuretic that causes loss of potassium. Enalapril is an angiotensinconverting enzyme inhibitor that retains potassium, thereby counteracting the loss of potassium caused by the thiazide diuretic.
