Still further, Professor Bailar has rendered much service to the Editorial Boards of the Journal of Chemical Education, the Journal of the American Chemical Society, Chemical Reviews, Journal of Inorganic and Nuclear Chemistry, Inorganic Syntheses, Inorganic Chemistry, Journal of Applied Chemistry and the Revue de Chimie Minerale. He has also been very active in the affairs of the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry, and he has been a delegate from the United States to several lUPAC Conferences, the Chairman of the Ad Hoc Finance Committee, a member of the Committee to Revise the Statutes and By-LaWs, and he is currently serving as Treasurer of lUPAC. He was also the Chairman of the Vlth International Conference on Coordination Chemistry in 1961, which was co-sponsored by lUPAC.
