Acanthia vulgaris

Spinacine (156) was isolated in 1936 by Ackermann and Mohr (210) from the liver of the shark Acanthias vulgaris, and in 1962 by Ackermann (211) from the crab-fish Crango vulgaris. The structure (156) was proved by a synthesis from histidine and formaldehyde (211,212). [Pg.320]
