Zener clipping circuit

The circuit below should clip positive voltages at the Zener breakdown voltage and negative voltages at the diode cut-in voltage, approximately 0.6 volts  [Pg.214]

This circuit is also simulated in Section 6.F.I. We would like to sweep VS from -15 volts to +15 volts and plot the output. Select PSpice and then New Simulation Profile from the Capture menus, select a name for the profile, and then click the Create button. Select the DC Sweep Analysis type and fill in the dialog box as shown  [Pg.215]

The dialog box is set to sweep 1 5 from 1S volts to +15 volts in 0.01 volt steps. Click the OK button to return to the schematic. Run the analysis by selecting PSpice and then Run  [Pg.215]
