Z-l 1-Hexadecenyl acetate

The sex pheromone components of the diamondback moth, Plutella xylostella, a pest of cruciferous crops, has been identified as (Z)-ll-hexadecenal and (Z)-l 1-hexadecenyl acetate (293). More recent data show that (Z)-ll-hexadecenol is a synergist of these two compounds in field trapping experiments 294). [Pg.94]
