You Are Wrong, Admit It

If you admit that you are wrong, you take the wind out of the other person s sails and there s nothing to argue about. Being mature in safety management is important to create an environment for motivation. If there has been a failure to rectify a reported situation or near miss incident, admit it and commit to time-based actions to flx the situation. 

Admitting that you are in the wrong gives you credibility and this credibility is vital when you are attempting to motivate others toward safety.
