Permission is granted to owners of this book to make copies of this blank worksheet (see also tables 8.14 and 8.15). 

To make a copy of a worksheet, hold down the CONTROL key (Excel for Windows) or the OPTION key (Excel for the Macintosh) while dragging the sheet tab. A small + sign appears in the icon. 

There are three ways to copy from Excel to Word by using Copy and Paste, by using the Camera icon on the toolbar or by making a "screen shot". Each produces a different "product". The first two can be linked dynamically to the source worksheet. 

Instead of a macro that gets the contents of the active cell or a selection, you may want to create a macro that copies values from specified rows and columns in a worksheet, independent of where the cursor has been "parked" by the user. To accomplish this, you can use either the Range method or the Cells method to make a reference to a cell or range. The syntax of the Cells method is Cells(roiv, column). The first two of the following refer to cell B3, the next two to the range B3 E27. 

Make a copy of fig2-7.xls and use the EDIT/MOVE OR COPY SHEET facility to create six copies of the worksheet for integration over a cylindrical array. Create a primary worksheet and label all the worksheets as in Figures 6.6a and 6.6b. 

Prior to running the programs enclosed in the diskette, the user should copy them into a sub-directory in a hard drive and make sure that the paths of these programs are added to the MatLab worksheet so that they can be executed. 

In Mathcad worksheets, by default, the user types in black or blue text on a white background mathematical expressions are black and comments are blue (see Sect. 6.3). Besides, by default these two objects classes have different fonts mathematical expressions have it san-serif, text - that allows us to make them out in black-and-white hard copies, for example in prints.
