Workover history

Damage is often created during workover operations. Workover history must be investigated thoroughly to uncover one or more possible damage contributors, including the following  [Pg.35]

The use of seawater, in particular, may cause downhole scaling when contacting incompatible formation brines. Simple laboratory testing of fluid samples can be performed to evaluate fluid compatibility. The nature of the workover itself may be physically damaging to the formation. [Pg.35]
