At the teacher s association, saw the Symonds. Felton Clarkjoked with us outside to the effect that the Association was called a Negro association, but that the entire day had been taken up by calling upon second rate white superintendents to speak. At the invitation of Miss Fannie Williams, I addressed the Parent-Teachers Association briefly on the subject of my Aaron Douglas quilt.
