Vomiting immunoglobulin

The diagnosis of acute HAV infection is based on clinical criteria of acute onset of fatigue, abdominal pain, loss of appetite, intermittent nausea and vomiting, jaundice or elevated serum aminotransferase levels, and serologic testing for immunoglobulin (Ig) G anti-HAV. 

Adverse reactions occurring in 3% or more of patients with RA include the following Nausea, dyspepsia, rash, headache, abdominal pain, vomiting, fever, dizziness, stomatitis, pruritus, abnormal liver function tests, and leukopenia. One report showed a 10% rate of immunoglobulin suppression, which was slowly reversible and rarely accompanied by clinical findings. 

The most frequent adverse effects of intravenous immunoglobulin (Sandoz) for the treatment of various disorders (affecting 1-3% of patients in aU) were headache, nausea, vomiting, and fever. Some other mild sjmp-toms have an incidence below 1%, including abdominal pain, diarrhea, fatigue, malaise, dizziness, myalgia, and chest tightness. 

Gastrointestinal Nausea [39, 52 ], vomiting, and diarrhea have been associated with intravenous immunoglobulin [39 ]. 

Gastrointestinal Gastrointestinal adverse events include nausea, vomiting, anorexia, diarrhea, and cramping [I , SS , 54", 55 , 57 ]. Necrotizing enterocolitis after phototherapy and intravenous immunoglobulin for hemolytic disease of the newborn has been reported in three cases [64 ]. 

Children In 38 children with juvenile derma-tomyositis the rate of adverse events, particularly fever, fatigue, nausea, and vomiting, was higher with intravenous immunoglobulin containing more than 15 pg/ml of IgA [59 ]. Children may be more sensitive to immunological triggers than adults [59 ].
