Volumetric adsorption system micromeritics ASAP

Nitrogen adsorption and desorption isotherms were performed at 77 K on a Micromeritics ASAP 2400 volumetric adsorption system. The pore size distribution and surface area were deduced from the adsorption isotherms using the BJH method and the BET equation. [Pg.78]

The treatments were carried out during 4, 8, 9,12, and 14 h in order to get samples of Na-FCSW (4h), Na-FCSW (8h), Na-FHC (9h), Na-FHC (12h), and Na-FHC (14h), respectively. In Figure 6.10, the N2 adsorption isotherms at 77 K of Na-FCSW (6 h), Na-FCSW (9 h), and Na-FCSW (12 h) samples are reported. The N2 adsorption isotherms at 77 K were measured with an Accelerated Surface Area and Porosimetry System (ASAP 2000) from Micromeritics [22], which is a volumetric automatic equipment similar to that reported in Figure 6.8. [Pg.292]
