KNIME provides a user-friendly interface to visually create workflows allowing a step-by-step data analysis flow. A node—as a single entity of such a workflow— provides a very confined analysis step with a set of parameter configurations. Workflows can branch at any point, which allows easily implementing multiple approaches. [Pg.111]

JChem Marvin KNIME extensions are also available [22]. The modules allow researchers to handle chemical structure data using ChemAxon s software tools such as Marvin, JChem and Standardizer within the open-source KNIME workflow environment. The air jet textured yam process is based on overfeeding a yam into a turbulent air jet so that the excess length forms into loops that are trapped in the yam stmcture. The air flow is unheated, turbulent, and asymmetrically impinges the yam. The process includes a heat stabilization zone. Elevated Flares See Flares for a general definition. The elevated flare, by the use of steam injection and effective tip design, operates as a smokeless combustion device. Flaring generally is of low luminosity up to about 20 % of maximum flaring load. Steam injection tends to introduce a source of noise to the operation, and a compromise between smoke elimination and noise is usually necessary. When adequately elevated (by means of a stack) this type of flare displays the best dispersion characteristics for malodorous and toxic combustion products.
