Visual examination, evidence investigation

Reserve samples should consist of at least twice the quantity necessary for all tests required to determine whether the I meets its established specifications. The samples should be stored in containers that would be equivalent or more protective than the marketed packaging system. Representative reserve samples should be examined visually at least once a year for evidence of deterioration unless visual examination would affect the integrity of the reserve samples.
