Verticillium alboatrum

Peruanskii and Topolovskii (1964) have studied the spores of some phyto-pathogenic fungi and gave infrared spectra of the conidia of Phytophthora infestans, Erysiphe graminia, and Verticillium alboatrum, of the teliospores of Puccinia phrag-mitis, and of the urediospores of P. triticina. The differences in the number of absorption bands and their intensities were related to the differences in the chemical composition of the spores. [Pg.424]
