Validation of a Water System

To provide the guideline to validate the water system for the pharmaceutical industry [Pg.209]

The following types of water systems are preferable for use in the pharmaceutical industry  [Pg.209]

Purified Water — Purified water is described in the USP 24 as water obtained by distillation, ion-exchange treatment, reverse osmosis, or other suitable process. It is prepared from water complying with the regulations of the Federal Environmental Protection Agency with respect to drinking water. It contains no added substances.  [Pg.209]
