UHV-Electrochemical Techniques

UHV-electrochemical studies of electrode/electrolyte interfaces started in the early 70 s. There are two common types 

Ex-situ studies are more complicated in that bringing together XJHV and electrochemical environments gives rise to many experimental difficulties (see Chapter II of this thesis).
