A series of Diaflo ultrafilters (Amicon, Inc.), cellulose acetate membranes, are used with the UF equipment. Table 8.4.1 lists, for each membrane, the series number, nominal MWCO, recommended maximum operating pressure, and temperature. The membranes should be stored in a 10% ethanol-water solution and refrigerated.
