5 Two-point bending test on prismatic-shaped specimens 

This test method is essentially the same as the two-point bending test on trapezoidal specimens, except for the shape of the specimens. The test is carried out under controlled strength so as to achieve the intended displacement amplitude. 

In this test, specimens have a square prismatic shape with 40 mm x 40 mm x 160 mm dimensions, for mixtures with maximum aggregate size D 22 mm, or 80 mm x 80 mm x 320 mm, for mixtures with maximum aggregate size D 22 mm. The height of the specimen when D 22 mm is 160 mm, and when D 22 mm, the height is 320 mm. 

The prismatic shape specimens are obtained with the same procedures as in trapezoidal shape specimens. The frequency of the applied displacement to the specimen is also the same, 25 Hz.
