Turbula mixer

Tablets of 250 mg with starch concentrations of 5%, 15% and 25% w/w respectively, were prepared. Starch and lactose were mixed for 15 minutes in a Turbula mixer at a rotation speed of 90 rpm.. Magnesium stearate (0.5% w/w) was added and mixing was continued for 2 minutes. The tablets were prepared on a single punch tabletting machine, using 9 mm flat punches. From each mixture tablets were produced at three compression load levels 157,314,472 MPa. Tablets of 250 mg with starch concentrations of 5%, 15% and 25% w/w respectively, were prepared. Mix all components for 10 minutes in a turbula mixer and press with low compression force. [Pg.28]

All ingredients were passed through a 0.8 mm sieve, blended for 10 min in a Turbula mixer and the compressed with high compression force. [Pg.46]

Before starting the preparation of the candidate CRM, a preliminary test was carried out on a small sample of 50 g wet sediment, which was dried for 15 h at 60°C, ground in a porcelain mortar, homogenized for 10 min in a Turbula mixer and subsequently analyzed for various trace metals by Neutron Activation Analysis (NAA) (see Table 11.1) and for its particle size distribution (Figure 11.1), after which the powder was examined microscopically (Figure 11.2). This semi-quantitative check was carried out to verify the initial trace element levels in order to establish whether the preparation steps listed below could be carried out free of contamination and whether the resulting material was of the required quality ... [Pg.294]

Therefore, the remaining material (38 rpm 4 kg) was Jet milled at a classifier wheel speed of 3700, collected in an 85 1 polyethylene container and homogenized for 2 hr using a Turbula mixer. [Pg.297]

The 150 kg milk powder was mixed for 2 h using a turbula-mixer before transferring 100 g portions to clean 250 mL brown glass bottles. The bottles were flushed with dry air and closed with aluminium inserts and plastic screw caps. About 1500 bottles were prepared and labelled. [Pg.308]

The reaction mixtures were mixed thoroughly 15 minutes in a turbula mixer and powder mixtures (approximately 150 g) were charged into Cu crucible and compacted. Cr-Ni wire was placed at the top of copper crucible and the reaction realized by passing current through the wire. [Pg.335]

Using a Turbula mixer mixing starts with shear forces, followed by a combination of (low) shear forces and diffusive mixing. [Pg.671]

The excipients were blended with paracetamol in a glass jar using a Turbula mixer (Quadro Engineering, Waterloo, Ontario, Canada). The blends of paracetamol with PVP, PVP-SD and PVP-Leu were denoted as PVP/Para, PVP-SD/Para and PVP-Leu/ Para, respectively. [Pg.18]

Self-reducing mixture is called to a blend formed with iron ore powder, reducer, and in some cases, with slag corrector agents and fluxes, which is processed directly in powder form, without conform. It is processed in a Turbula mixer for 30 minutes in order to be sure that blend was homogenized. [Pg.119]
