Vanadium, Molybdenum and Iron Complexes Based on a Trithiolate Ligand [Fe(MeCOCHCOMe)3] + H3(NS3)... 

LSs is the trithiolate cavitand ligand, l,3,5-tris((4,6-dimethyl-3-mercaptophenyl)thio)-2,4,6-tris(p-tolylthio)benzene(3-). 

V(Bu N)(SR) Cl3 J (n = 1,2). Controlled hydrolysis of the trithiolate complex with SR = SSiPha gave [ V(Bu N)(SSiPh3)2 20], and both this and the trithiolate complex were fully characterized by spectroscopic studies and X-ray structure determinations. It was confirmed that both complexes have distorted tetrahedral arrangements of the ligands around the metal. 

Other sulfur-containing ligands, such as xanthates, disulfides, di- and trithiols, and resorcinarene tetrathiols have been used to stabilize AuNPs. Apart from sulfur containing ligands, other ligands such as phosphine, phosphine oxide, amine and carboxylic acids.
