Triphenyltin chloride, allyltriphenyltin

Allyltriphenyltin can also be prepared by using the reaction of preformed allylmagnesium bromide with triphenyltin chloride.2 However, the submitters prefer the simpler procedure described above for large-scale preparations of allyltin compounds. 

AUyllithium. This previously unknown reagent was initially prepared by combining the preparation of allylmagnesium chloride and its reaction with triphenyltin chloride (1) to give a solution of allyltriphenyltin (2) in ether, tetrahydrofurane, or benzene.
