Triparental matings

The wild type strain BIO of R. capsulatus has been described (12,13), as have the lacZ fusion plasmid vectors pTB931 (11) and pXCA601 (7). Plasmids were conjugated from Escherichia coli hosts into R. capsulatus by triparental matings (14). [Pg.2347]
