Trichorabdal G-acetate

Since 1966, the minor constituents have been investigated. E. Fujita and coworkers isolated isodocarpin (64) (ii), nodosin (66) 32, 55), trichodonin (70) 32, 40), and oridonin (32) 32, 36), which had been isolated previously from R.japonica, and a new diterpenoid, trichokaurin they elucidated the structure (56) of the latter 78). Recently, they also isolated the following new diterpenoids, in addition to longikaurin D (45) which had been isolated from R. longituba, and determined their structures trichorabdals A (92) (79), B (93) 80), C (94) (79), and D (95) (79). Furthermore, they obtained a crystalline mixture from a fraction of higher polarity and isolated trichorabdals E (96) (major constituent) and F and G as acetates (97) and (98), respectively 81, 82). [Pg.101]
