Dipotassium salt, C,jH,(ClK,N,Ot, clorazepate dipotassl-am, CB 4306, Betseren, Mendon, Tranxitine, Tranxilium, Transene, Tranxene. White powder, freely sol in water. Very poorly sol in ethanol. Practically in sol in ether, chloroform. Aq solns are alkaline to phenolphthalein. LDM in mice (mg/kg) 700 orally 290 i.p. (Brunaud). 

Dipotassium clorazepate is available as Tranxene containing 50 mg and the additives mannitol and potassium carbonate. According to the product information, the powder should be dissolved in a phosphate buffer until a concentration of 20 mg/mL at a pH of 6.7-7.2 is reached.
