Transformation, engineering education profession

In many chapters of these two volumes, the ideas and analyses aim to further identify, characterize, and explicate one or more of these challenges. Other chapters, drawing on such analyses, propose responses in hopes of transforming engineering and engineering education in ways that wiU sustain the profession as a vital, constructive, and responsive social institution. A brief summary of relevant arguments follows.
